It started with a little shop on Etsy that went viral - and it has been successfully running ever since. You are welcome to visit and shop on Etsy today! Frog Haven has gone fully independent in order to fulfil its ambitions to their fullest.
How Frogs Are Made

Step 1: Design & research
A simple idea first appears as a sketch on paper. Then it's off to 3D software - where a frog is sculpted digitally, much like clay or marble would be. When it comes to design, attention to detail counts. Materials and colours are picked to reach peak aesthetic potential. The design is made with 3D printing's technical challenges in mind.

Step 2: 3D printing & post-processing
3D printer machine code is prepared and reviewed (process called slicing). After that, it's as "simple" as loading material into a printer and telling it to start printing. Once complete, the frog is meticulously inspected and processed to look its best. This process involves a bright light, a blowtorch, a scalpel and other instruments.

Step 3: Iterative improvement
Nothing is perfect! But we can try and try again to get closer to it. With experimentation, tool upgrades, researching and testing new raw materials, inspections and patron feedback, improvements are constantly made so that every frog may be slightly nicer than the last.
